Hello From Loran and Tiffany!

Just ten years ago my wife Tiffany and I graduated high school right here in Sweetwater, TX. Little did we know then, that God had us on a journey preparing us to someday return to reach this city for the Kingdom of God. We are so excited to have the honor of serving with EFC and getting to know each and every one of you. As junior and high school students, you are missionaries on one of the greatest and largest mission fields in America; your school campus. You are on the frontlines of a great battle for the hearts and minds of your generation! Together with the gifts and talents that God has given each of us, we will reach this city, this nation, and this world with the life changing love that comes only from Jesus Christ. This is our heart and prayer. We look forward to seeing it fulfilled in and through the youth ministry of EFC.

New Youth Pastors!

As you all know, EFC has been praying for God to send us someone who will be able to pastor our youth for some time now. We are so thankful He has answered this prayer!

Loran and Tiffany Rule, the first youth pastors at Emmanuel Fellowship, are returning home to Sweetwater and will be pastoring our youth, grades 6-12! Tiffany is the daughter of Randy and Rhonda Wilks, founding members of EFC. The Rules served here as youth pastors during the church's early stages, under the leadership of Pastor Yancy Smith. They love Jesus and love youth, so we are looking forward to what they will bring to EFC!

Loran also works as a flight paramedic, and Tiffany is a full-time stay at home mom to their two young sons, Jayden and Evan.

The Rules will be moving from Odessa this Saturday, so if any of you would like to welcome them by lending them your muscles for the move, let Pastor Eric know! You will be able to meet the Rules this Sunday during our morning service and at the Fellowship Meal that will follow. Also, be in prayer for both of them, as well as their boys, as they make the adjustment back to Sweetwater.

Loran and Tiffany will be able to post some information about themselves on the Ramp site very sonn, but for now here is a picture of our new youth pastors. We look forward to getting to know this awesome couple!

RAMP is ramping back up this week!

Yep, Spring Semester has kicked off, and RAMP will be kicking off as well! Join us this Wednesday at 6:45 for some worship, some good discussion about Jesus, and of course- some food!

Also, make plans to be at the Julian Drive concert on Thursday, January 21st! The concert is FREE! We'll be going as a group, so if you want to attend, let me know!

HALLELUJAH NIGHT!

Tonight at RAMP, we will be serving the children of our church by hosting the annual EFC Hallelujah Night, a Fall Festival full of fun and candy! Be there by 6:45 tonight and we'll show you which booth to work.

Our second drawing for the youth group ipod will be held in service this Sunday. If you know your name is in the hat this month and want a chance to win, make sure you're there. You MUST be present in the Sunday morning service to win!

We also have a great event coming next Wednesday night. We will be helping the Children's Ministry Team host the annual Fall Festival for the children of EFC. Show up and we'll put you to work in a booth. It's going to be great! Don't miss it!
